The Collision Center is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  We write estimates from 8:00 to 4:30 PM daily.

Limited Warranty

Subject to the following conditions, limitations and customer obligations, Heyward Allen Collision Center provides a fragmented four-part LIMITED WARRANTY, and stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part are stated hereafter:

1.      Metalwork:  Heyward Allen Collision Center Provides a THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, for labor only, from the effective date stated herein, for all metalwork and frame work, to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking , flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding any damage caused by rust, unreasonable use, subsequent damage, or poor maintenance or care of the vehicle.

2.      Painting, Stripes and Decals:  Heyward Allen Collision Center will provide a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY, for labor only, from the effective date stated herein, on painting-related priming and painting work against solvent, blistering, pealing, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation, and a THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, for labor only, on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals, excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle may be exposed.  Heyward Allen Collision Center will provide the labor to re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby (excluding rust repair or damage), when the claim is made in accordance with this warranty, unless the repair is necessitated by subsuent damage, or unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.

3.      Mechanical Repairs:  Heyward Allen Collision Center provides a THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, for labor only, from the effective date stated herein, on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to the original collision damage. Heyward Allen Collision Center will provide the labor to re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby, when claim is made within the warranted period, unless such re-repair is necessitated as a result of subsequent damage, unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.

4.      Parts: Heyward Allen Collision Center provides a ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, from the effective date stated herein, unless the manufacturer's warranty is less or more, on any new parts installed by Heyward Allen Collision Center. (Please note: Shop Warranty does not exceed manufacturer's warranty.) We will repair or replace any defective new part warranted hereby, when claim is made within the warranty period, unless claim is the result of subsequent damage, unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

Heyward Allen Collision Center hereby provides the foregoing LIMITED WARRANTY on repairs performed by the shop.  This Limited Warranty is subject to the following conditions and limitations:

(a)   This LIMITED WARRANTY is granted only to the person whose name appears on this LIMITED WARRANTY and on the original Heyward Allen Collision Center Work Order.

(b)   This LIMITED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO LABOR ONLY.

(c)    This LIMITED WARRANTY is not assignable or transferable.

(d)   This LIMITED WARRANTY is valid only for the time limit stated in the LIMITED WARRANTY, or until you sell the vehicle covered by this LIMITED WARRANTY, whichever event occurs first.

(e)   This LIMITED WARRANTY shall be null and void if repair has been tampered with, damaged, or otherwise adjusted or modified by any person not authorized by Heyward Allen Collision Center.

(f)     This LIMITED WARRANTY does not cover rust through and / or damage caused by the rusting of interior or exterior non-replaced panels.

(g)   ANY AND ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO TOWING FEES, CAR RENTAL CHARGES, TRAVEL EXPENSES, ASSEMBLIES, COMPONENTS , ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

(h)   ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.

 

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS:

In order to obtain the benefits of this LIMITED WARRANTY, the owner of the vehicle must do the following:

 

(a)   Present the Owner's copy of this LIMITED WARRANTY document to Heyward Allen Collision Center before requesting any warrantable work; and

(b)   Have any warrantable repair, adjustment, or inspection made only at the premises of the Heyward Allen Collision Center during normal business hours.
